If you’re unhappy with the items that you have ordered - for example, you don’t like the colour or shape of your new River Island boots, or you are not thrilled with the River Island trainers that you have ordered, you can always return them, providing you meet the conditions. At River Island, items can be returned up to 28 days from the date of delivery or store purchase. All the items, you wish to return, should be in their original state, unworn and with all the tags intact. In order to return them, you'll need to provide the River Island staff with the original receipt or dispatch confirmation email. And then, for the online purchases, you can either return them to one of their stores, get it collected using the River Island Parcel Collection Service or Drop off your return. And if you have purchased the items at one of the River Island stores, bring the items back to any of their stores and get them exchanged or returned. And if you have any questions, you can always contact their Customer Support Team, which will be happy to help you. But please beware that some items can not be returned, including food, underwear, swimwear and a few others.

If you happen to receive a faulty or damaged item, or the item within the last 6 months has become faulty, in order to resolve the matter, take the item back to your local store to be assessed. Ideally, take with you the proof of purchase, or be ready to provide the River Island staff with the estimated date and price of purchase. You can also return the faulty/damaged items directly to their distribution centre using their Return page. Please beware, that River Island might be unable to send replacements for the faulty items.
